Is Belvedere Child Friendly?
Yes! Belvedere is set up with families in mind.
2 travel cots, 2 high chairs and 2 pressure mounted stair gates are available at the house.
Please bring your own bedding for travel cots.
Also at the house: toys, games, books, DVDs, garden toys and games. Children's plastic kitchenware.
Bath mat, bath toys and baby toiletries in the family bathroom.
Can you arrange babysitters?
Yes! Please enquire at the time of booking, subject to availability and extra (but very reasonable) charges.
Can you arrange cleaning during our stay?
Yes! The house will be clean and tidy with bedrooms set up prior to your arrival.
All guests staying one week or longer are offered a complimentary mid week clean.
Additional/ daily cleaning can be arranged subject to availability and extra (but very reasonable) charges.

Are dogs allowed?
Yes! Up to 2 dogs are very welcome at Belvedere subject to some common sense house-rules. The garden is secure and the whole area, beaches, pubs and cafes are very dog friendly.
Is parking available?
Yes! We have space on the drive for 3-4 cars and there is additional parking (pay and display) in the village car park.
Can I get food delivered to Belvedere?
Yes! Tesco and Sainsburys deliver in this area. There is a village shop in Mortehoe and a Londis in Woolacombe which are handy for topping up.
Can you recommend good places to eat?
Yes! My family spends a lot of time at Belvedere and we have found some wonderful places to eat locally, I can send you a list of suggestions.
Can you recommend a catering service?
Yes! If you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary at Belvedere, you may want to host a celebration dinner without having to cook. I can recommend a chef/ catering service to come to you. This often works well for multi-generation family celebrations enabling the adults to relax and enjoy dinner with the children tucked up in bed.
Can you recommend activities to do with children?
Yes! I have lots of suggestions including beaches, water-sports, bike rides, farm parks, adventure parks and some wet weather ideas too.
I can send you a list tailored to your children's ages and interests.
Can you recommend some nice local walks?
Yes! There are so many lovely beach, coastal path and countryside walks that I can send to you.
Are there many things to do in the local area?
Yes! There are lots of things to do nearby.
I can send you a personalised list based on your interests.
Here are some ideas of what to do locally: Surfing, body-boarding, SUP, swimming, rock-pooling, coastal walks, cycling, golf, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, badminton, cinema, aquarium, boat trips, farm and adventure parks.
Do you provide kitchen and bathroom products?
Yes! Kitchen cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, washing machine capsules etc are provided in the kitchen.
There are also some basic condiments and tea, coffee etc in the kitchen.
Bathroom cleaning products, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, bubble bath, baby shampoo, baby bubble bath, hand soap and toilet rolls are provided in bathrooms.
Do you provide a welcome basket?
Yes! I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I do provide a generous welcome basket for all guests!
